taketheplunge: follow friday recommendations. → omgitskennyb.tumblr.com

twitter is home to some of the most amazing people. amongst these people, i have chosen the lucky few that i find are worth of my time. their tweets are interesting, crazy, strange, witty, sarcastic, heart-touching, cute, and sexy all together. with great pleasure, i bring you the first ever OMGitskennyb Follow Friday Recommendations.

THE TOP 4:

  • @roblives4love (robert) - do you love MJ? do you really know him? i don’t think you have half the knowledge that this individual posesses. on top of him being an MJ guru, he has an amazing soul, can be a bit dirty at times, and isn’t afraid to be himself. ladies and gentleman, THE definition of confidence, mr. wilson.
  • @fashionjuhnkiie (omari) - just by his username, you know what this individual tweets about. this guy lives, breathes, eats, drinks, listens to, talks fashion. if you ever need fashion advice, go to him and if he makes you spend a shitload of money, he’s doing his job correctly. mr. francis, ya’ll.
  • @officiallydfrnt (melissa) - oh man, where do i even begin with this one? i noticed her following me and i followed back immediately because i knew she wasn’t a bot. i’m glad i still follow her because she’s an amazing person. her tweets are so interesting. you won’t be dissappointed if you follow her. have you followed her yet? WHAT’T TAKING YOU?
  • @daveydesire (david) - i had no idea that i met this person two years ago, told him he could be a model, and then ended up following him and reconnecting. he is to lady gaga as robert is to mj. if you didn’t get that, david is a lady gaga guru. if you offend her, he will cock smack you and then you’re dead.

that’s it. get to following. :D

i love you.

“You see, we like to make things complicated.
You don’t have to read books and go to church to learn about God and find answers.
We don’t even have to talk to each other, you know?
If we all just be quiet, then we’ll realize that we can really hear each other.
And then you’ll realize that you already have the answers.”

American Apologies: #112: Mark David Chapman → american-apologies.com

image

Robbing the world of one of the greatest musical artists of all time, Mark David Chapman’s murder of John Lennon is still something difficult to deal with today. Whether it was his abusive father, a psychological disorder, or any other reason, as recently as 2006 Chapman stated, “I believe that if I really wanted to, I could have changed my mind; I had ample opportunity to do it and I didn’t do it and I regret that deeply.” It’s clear that Chapman’s obsession with the alienated Holden Caulfield of The Catcher in the Rye made him feel insignificant and desperate for fame What better way to achieve fame then to murder one of the most famous people on the planet? Apparently the born-again Christian had a lot of problems with Lennon’s statements regarding religion, which was part of what fueled his fire towards Lennon specifically. Today, he rightfully remains in prison and has had his parole denied five times. It’s just sad that Lennon had to be the victim of Chapman’s depression, especially considering Lennon had signed an autograph for Chapman earlier that day. It just goes to show that sometimes our obsession with fame and celebrity can lead to tragedy when taken to extremes, and this is the ideal case.

Can’t wait for your apology on Conrad Murray.

Awww, shucks. Thank you for your continued support of the [insert socialist/communist/marxist/islamic/terrorist/fascist/godless/homosexual] propaganda that is American Apologies. The show must go on! Who knows for how long? Maybe I’ll get bored with America and start my dream project, Finnish Apologies. Only time will tell what direction this site will go…

You get a reblog just for use of a MJ pic.
